Marley!!

I once read “I wish I could be as good as my dog thinks of me”. When I read that I laughed to myself and might have even been cynical about that statement. But now when I think about that, I realize how much that it actually means.

I wish sometimes mankind was as faithful or have atleast even a fraction of qualities a dog has. We can actually learn to love everyone from it. It would not discriminate you based on gender, age, caste, religion or any other barrier which a man can think of even in his dreams.

Actually I am tempted to say that politicians should learn so much from it. Atleast then they would not fight and promote dividing the society in various fragments but rather learn to live as a family.

You can see the purity in its eyes. Its eyes speak so much. You can just feel it when you look into it.

I always used to wish to own a dog. But I realize how wrong I thought. You don’t own a dog. You have a dog, just like a baby probably. You can never own a baby, you have it. Hahahaha….

It is the only thing which will be there with you, for you always, as long as it is there. It is like the only constant in your life on an extended temporary basis. It is the best listener you can ever have.
(Now I know why people say girls want a boyfriend but expect him to be like a dog. Hahahaha Sorry for that...no offense!!)
Though it won’t reply which you want to hear but still you will be satisfied and will feel light by just a bark of his.

You will also get unlimited supply of kisses, though not the ones which you want form opposite sex, but certainly the ones which will bring a smile onto your face. I am sure even your lover won’t be able to beat it. Hahahaha. Sorry if I have hurt someone’s feelings by saying that. Hahahaha

I am sure while reading half way down you would be wondering whether I am feeling fine or not, or what happened to me that I am so bitten by dogs. The reason is “Marley and Me”. It is a movie starring Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston. It is about a lovely couple, both of them are working as reporters in different leading dailies. Wilson gifts a dog, Marley a Labrador to Aniston to get her mind off from getting kids, since he was early in his career and did not want the responsibilities. So things went according to plan for quite some time.

Wilson got promoted at work. Slowly Wilson got ready to take up the responsibilities of being a father. They ended up having 3 kids. The whole movie revolves around the troubles of Aniston catering to kids along with the dog, Marley. Marley was a very mischievous and an ever excited dog. Through out the movie it was portrayed that he troubled the family a lot albeit loving everyone unconditionally. As the movie ends Marley grows old and eventually dies, the emotions among other family members was shown beautifully.

The best thing about the movie is it actually made me cry. Buhuhuhu… Hahahaha

I was really touched by the movie and it got the dog out in me. :)

I would just conclude by saying:

A dog has no use of fancy homes or big cars or finer clothes, a water logged stick would do just fine. A dog would not care if you are rich or poor, smart or dumb. Give your heart and he will his.
